After 20+ years of working on my own stories and creature designs, I've learned that the more "traditional" worldbuilding tips and books out there don't work for me, and this likely means others don't really jive with them either, so I’ve embarked on a project to make my own!
The Worldbuilding Workshop is for all types of creatives - writers, ttrpg players and dungeon masters, artists, really anyone who likes making up new worlds or even just pieces of worlds. No matter how big or small the scope, the workshop is meant to help inspire people wherever they’re at as a creative.
There are currently two approaches to the workshop that I offer: worksheets, and one-on-one consultations.
Worksheets
These aren’t the traditional “fill in the blank” forms. They’re instead more focused on research collecting, brainstorming, and prompts meant to give you the resources you need to keep coming up with new ideas inspired by the things you already love or have an interest in.
I've divided these worksheets into three categories: Collecting, Harvesting, and Alchemizing. Only the "Collector" worksheets are currently available, however the "Harvestor" and "Alchemist" worksheets will be released throughout 2025.

These are starter worksheets that help with the “collecting phase" as I call it. You will focus on building archives of inspiration for the "things" that will fill your world, as well as be introduced to a method for naming all of those "things". These 3 worksheets are available for instant download from my Etsy shop either as individual sheets or as a bundle!
World View Consultations
While creating solo can get you pretty far - a lot of worldbuilding is roaming around uninterrupted in your own brain - when you get stuck, sometimes all the worksheets and how-to books in the world just can’t beat the intuitive and spontaneous process of talking to someone one on one. Being able to bounce ideas off of a creative buddy who can end up asking that right question or saying that right thing in the moment can spark huge breakthroughs.
The thing is, not everyone has that person in their social circle, and others find things like writing groups intimidating to join or overwhelming because there’s feedback coming from too many places. I love listening to people gush about their creative projects, and more than anything I love seeing them have those “aha!” moments that make their ideas flourish and thrive.
World Views begin with a consultation over Google Meet/Zoom or through email to talk about your project and get a feel for where it could really use the most help (characters, places, magic system, creatures, etc). I’ll then put together a custom little workbook catered to your project’s needs, and set up a follow-up call (or include instructions via email) to walk through the workbook together and get the spark going again!
